By: Shankh Chatterjee Technology is taking over the world, and we are loving it! The new cutting edge technology of virtual reality is a thing that was only dreamed of a few years ago and now has become a reality. Virtual reality are just a pair of very bulky looking goggles that you put on and you can see everything and every place you want in 360. The whole idea of this tech is to let people explore the surrounding without actually being in those places or situations and immerse yourself in ‘Virtual reality’. This technology especially helps with interiors because you can digitally modify laces and then look at how it would look if you place certain things in certain place or make the changes you want. You have a full view of this amazing new idea you have had and you can see it right in front of your eyes. Now who says everything you think of has to be materialized to be visualized. Once you own a pair of these then you can do so much more with your interior dreams and decorate or remodel any part of the world you want by just standing in your living room and not having to move anywhere and going the hassle. This technology has recently been adapted to a few smartphones as well where you get a cardboard case that you look through and you can experience the same amount of awesomeness. Now this tech just became a lot more accessible to everyone who would like to broaden their horizons and look into various parts of the world and take inspiration and apply it in their own digital representation of their ideal home. By: Shankh Chatterjee The Sims are a game most of us have played once in our lives. We all have that fascination of leading whole new life virtually where anything and everything we want can happen. Just type a cheat code and you have a billion dollars, wish that would happen in reality as well, but life isn’t fair. But one thing the Sims can be useful for is planning a house floor plan. Just build a house with all the money you want and decorate it and make it your own. Build your fantasy house or apartment and figure out which house are you going to be saving for. For all those who are new to this game, you can literally plan everything about your house, from the floor plan, to floor, walls, furniture to even the last plant in the premises. Literally plan a new house by yourself and no need to compromise on anything, you can save the game for when you actually move into your dream house and then plan it exactly like that. Think about it, isn’t it a lot easier to have a floor plan already ready when you move into a new house, half of your work is already done. The game not only lets you have your interior dreams come alive but also lets you lead a whole new virtual life where you can be whatever and whoever you like. It is a wonderful alternative for anyone who would like to figure out their fantasy life and watch it come alive through one of the best games created. Although how much of it is really good for people, it is decreasing human contact, so let's not get carried away with it, but there is absolutely no harm in having a little fun once in a while.
